Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, PA origin, circa 1875, a half-gallon jar with inverted swag decoration, paired with a one-gallon jar with cobalt leaf decoration, attributed to R.J. Grier, Chester County, PA. A glazed-over horizontal line near base to half-gallon jar. One-gallon jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition.
