One-Quart Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, small-sized, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of brushed swags and hanging flowers around the jar's circumference. A shallow 1" chip to side of rim, a 1/2" in-the-firing chip to top of rim, and a 1/2" chip to side of rim connected to a crack, which remains in rim only. H 6 1/2".
