One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Maryland or Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher footed base, tooled collar, and applied strap handle, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design bearing fan-shaped blossoms. Additional flower motifs to collar and swags decorating the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Restoration surrounding upper and lower handle terminals. Restored tip to spout. Large area of restoration to rim on reverse.
