One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Clover Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN", Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated on the front and reverse with a large two-stemmed clover plant design. Impressed with Peter Herrmann make's mark at shoulder. A 1 1/8" chip to top of rim. Several faint lines to base.
