Stoneware Spittoon, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1860, with footed base and carved oval opening at shoulder, decorated around the body with a series of brushed cobalt clovers. Cobalt highlight surrounding opening at shoulder. Excellent condition with a tiny nick to opening at shoulder. H 4" ; Diameter 8".
