Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "E.W. FARRRINGTON & Co / ELMIRA, N.Y.", circa 1890, cylindrical jug with squared spout and applied handle, decorated with a solid-bodied cobalt bird perched on a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Restored spout chips. Otherwise excellent, essentially as-made condition.
