Unusual One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, West Virginia origin, circa 1875, ovoid-bodied pitcher with tall flaring collar and tooled accents to rim and midsection, decorated with finely-brushed circumferential vining at the waist and undulating vines with spots flanking the spout. Diagonal cobalt stripes additionally decorate the handle. Significant restoration to right side of pitcher's collar.
