One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO. PA.," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim with inner flange for lid, the front decorated with freehand stripes and Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling within a banner surrounded by spots and stenciled foliate accents. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
