Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Vine Decoration, attributed to Madison Woodruff and Romanzo Smith, Cortland, NY, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical jug with squared spout and thin strap handle, decorated with a slip-trailed looping vine design and the inscription "1/2". Desirable small size. Excellent condition with two minuscule base nicks.
