Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Huntingdon County, PA origin, mid 19th century, ovoid jar with tall flaring collar and applied ribbed handles, decorated on the front and reverse with a wavy vine bearing leaves and three tulip blossoms. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Heavy chipping to rim and one handle. A large Y-shaped surface line on one side. A few shallow base chips. Some surface wear and light staining.
