One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA," circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed spitting tulip. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Excellent color. One chip to exterior of rim, a very minor chip to top of rim, and a tiny rim nick.
