Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwell with Impressed Decoration, probably New York State, circa 1825, cylindrical form with central hole surrounded by three smaller quill holes, the top highlighted in cobalt slip and decorated impressed asterisks. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from an inkwell collection amassed over the last thirty years, consigned to this auction; Crocker Farm, Inc.
