One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "EVAN R. JONES / PITTSTON, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of a conical flower composed of graduated cobalt daubs. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Partially-restored thin crack from rim on right side of crock's front. Otherwise excellent condition.
