Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Stylized Cobalt Decoration, Ohio origin, fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with four heavily-brushed designs resembling a grape cluster or carrot, surrounding a freehand "6". In-the-firing discoloration to front. A chip and nick to interior of rim. A 1" handle chip and horizontal line in same handle.
