Large-Sized Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA or possibly Palatine, WV origin, circa 1875, with tapered sides, tooled shoulder, and semi-rounded rim with wax sealer interior, the front decorated with four wide cobalt stripes. As-made condition with a 2" in-the-firing base chip. H 10 3/4".
