Half-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Bridgeport, CT Advertising, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1890, small-size, squat-shaped jug with tooled spout and Bristol-slip-glazed surface, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "J. Nussenfeld. / 557 Water St. / Bridgeport. / Conn.".Excellent condition with a very minor base chip, possibly in-the-firing, a very short in-the-firing surface line in spout, and a small contact mark to side.
