Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "BRADY & RYAN / ELLENVILLE, NY," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, lug handles, and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed fan-tailed bird perched on a branch accented with dotted trails. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some heavy salting to crock.
