Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON, / UTICA, N.Y.," circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized brushed and slip-trailed floral design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Two chips to one handle. Some light staining. Fairly inocuous n-the-firing wear on interior of rim, caused when another piece was stacked on top of this crock during the firing.
