One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L. NORTON / BENNINGTON," Vermont origin, circa 1830, ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a brushed stylized tulip. Brushed cobalt highlights through maker's mark. 3 1/2" x 2" area of thin spidering cracks at base. 6" vertical crack to side of jug.
