Rare Stoneware Presentation Pitcher with Applied Inscription "A. KIRKBRIDE.," Signed "J.M. TISCH / AKRON / O / 1901," Akron, Ohio origin, Bristol-slip-glazed, barrel-form pitcher, featuring an applied clay drape-and-wreath design at the shoulder and base, the midsection bearing the applied clay inscription "A. KIRKBRIDE". Cobalt highlights through applied decoration. Brushed cobalt spots on handle. Underside inscribed "J.M. TISCH / AKRON / O / 1901". Some in-the-firing losses to applied decoration. H 8 5/8".
