Two Pieces of Stoneware with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to Flack & Van Arsdale, Cornwall, Ontario, circa 1875, a five-gallon jug with slip-trailed bird perched on a flowering branch, with a six-gallon churn with similar motif. Jug in essentially as-made condition with fry to cobalt and a slumped spout. Churn with exfoliation, significant touch-up to decoration, varnish to surface, a large rim chip, and chips to inner rim area.
