Two Pieces of Advertising Stoneware, American, circa 1875, a cylindrical jar, with cobalt-stenciled advertising, "C.H. Torsch & Co. / Baltimore. Md.", attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV; paired with a one-gallon jug with the stenciled advertising "H. LAWRENCE & BRO / 244 & 246 / SOUTH PEARL. ST. / ALBANY, NY," stamped "WEST TROY / N.Y. / POTTERY". Baltimore jar with inverted 3 1/2" Y-shaped crack from rim, chips and wear to rim, and surface wear around body. Albany jug with staining, a minor nick to spout, and a 1 1/2" in-the-firing separation to underside.
