Fine One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1845, ovoid pitcher with splayed foot and tooled collar, decorated with a brushed two-stemmed flowering daisy plant extending up the front and cobalt swags flanking the spout. Good size with strong color and decoration. Excellent condition with a faint 3 1/4" inverted Y-shaped surface near base, which does not extend through to interior.
