Stoneware Wax Sealer, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO," Pennsylvania origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with rounded wax sealer rim, decorated with a freehand stripes and an intricate Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling flanked by flourishes, surrounding a stylized flower blossom. A base chip. A 1 1/2" salt drip to side. A minor nick to inner wax sealer rim. A few brown streaks of paint on reverse. H 9 3/4".
