One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Philadelphia, PA origin, second half 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base, tall collar, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two fan-shaped flowers applied over Bristol-slip-coated clay. Very nice condition with a 2" hairline from rim and a minor base chip.
