Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with footed base, tooled collar, and semi-rounded rim molding, decorated on the front with a brushed swag and hanging flower design. Additional swags below the rim and spout. Base chip. Some dryness to cobalt. Short line on underside, continuing approximately 3" up side of pitcher from base. Approximately 4 1/4" crack from rim on right side of spout. H 9 1/4".
