Scarce Stoneware Milkpan with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1825, approximately one-and-a-half-gallon tapered pan with squared rim, pouring spout, and applied tab handles, profusely-decorated on the front and reverse with a vine bearing swags and tulip blossoms. This form is quite difficult-to-find among Baltimore products of this early period. 4 1/2" crack from rim to left of spout. Otherwise excellent condition. A minor nick to end of one handle.
