Two Pieces of Baltimore, MD Stoneware, second quarter 19th century, a two-gallon churn and a two-gallon jar, both with similar cobalt swag and hanging tulip decoration. Churn with crack near base, extending onto underside and up opposite side of churn to shoulder. Churn also has a rim nick and small glazed-over rim chip. Jar with cracks in underside extending up sides in several places, an additional in-the-firing surface separation on underside, base chips, and contact marks to shoulder.
