Two Pieces of Baltimore, MD Stoneware, second and third quarters 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar with tab handles and squared rim, decorated with large brushed cobalt tulip designs on the front and reverse, paired with a one-gallon cylindrical jar with drooping cobalt floral design. Ovoid jar with 1 1/2" in-the-firing chip to shoulder, a 2" piece of clay adhered to side of jar, a shallow in-the-firing chip to top of rim, cracks in underside extending onto base area, and a few other in-the-firing flaws. Other jar with a shallow base chip and some small rim chips.
