Two Pieces of Stoneware, fourth quarter 19th century, a one-gallon jar with stenciled rose and freehand stripe decorations, stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO./ GREENSBORO, / PA.," paired with a two-gallon crock, stenciled "E.S.&B. / NEW BRIGHTON / PA". Hamilton jar with horizontal hairline at base on reverse, including two short hairlines extending off from it. E.S&B. crock with a chip on interior of rim, a salt drip to rim on reverse, and a 4 1/2" vertical hairline at base on front, which extends 2 3/4" onto underside.
