Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, American, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with three groups of wavy yellow slip stripes. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example from a long-term Midwestern collection. Knife marks and scratches to lead glaze on interior. Spot of loss to slip on interior. Two rim chips and a tiny rim nick. Diameter 9".
