Two Slip-Decorated Redware Plates, American, 19th century, both with coggled edge, including an early example with daubs of green over trails of yellow slip, probably Philadelphia, paired with a smaller plate with elaborate wavy lines of yellow slip. Larger plate with flakes to interior, wear to rim, and a small rim chip. Smaller plate with heavy wear to interior, a shallow rim chip, a 1 3/4" chip to underside, and a large semi-circular crack to underside. Diameter (of larger plate) 10 5/8".
