Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, 19th century, ovoid jar with footed base and tall rim, the surface covered in a heavy lead glaze over a colorful olive-green and orange ground. Stone ping to edge of underside. 1 1/4" hairline in rim. Rim chips. Light surface wear to midsection. A few chips to underside, which appear to be in-the-firing. H 8 1/4".
