Small-Sized Southern Stoneware Face Jug, Stamped "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, NC," 20th century, ovoid jug with applied facial features and porcelain teeth, the surface covered in an olive-colored alkaline glaze. Underside impressed with maker's mark of 20th century potter, Burlon Craig, of North Carolina. Excellent condition with some shallow base wear, which appears to be in-the-firing. H 8".
