Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "E.A. MONTELL / OLEAN, NY," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, stepped rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed leafy stem featuring two different blossoms. 2 1/4" Y-shaped surface line on reverse, not visible on interior. 6" crack from rim.
