Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1850, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a a fan-shaped hanging flower on the front and reverse. Crazing to rim area. Thin spidering line to one side. Small chip to top of rim. Small chip to interior of rim. Traces of old varnish to surface.
