One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-squared rim, decorated with a brushed two-stemmed flowering plant design bearing eight daisies. Brushed cobalt swags flanking the spout and on sides of pitcher. Minor chip to edge of underside and minor base nick. Small glazed-over rim chip. 1 1/2" salt drip near base front. Dark contact mark on reverse.
