Two Pieces of Pennsylvania Stoneware, circa 1885, a one-gallon jar with cobalt sunflower decoration, stamped "J.M. HARRIS / EASTON, PA.," paired with an approximately one-and-a-half-gallon cream jar with brushed cobalt tulip decoration, attributed to the Sipe Pottery, Williamsport, PA. Harris jar with thin in-the-firing cracks at base, flaking to side of jar, some hairlines on side and reverse, and a small glazed-over rim chip. Williamsport jar with shallow 1 1/8" rim chip on reverse.
