Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.B. PFALTZGRAFF / YORK, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed tulip plant design bearing three blossoms. Large kiln furniture pieces adhered to underside. Large contact marks including chips on side and reverse. Contact mark on reverse is additionally recessed. A small in-the-firing chip / contact mark to reverse.
