One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and lug handles, decorated with a graduated flower blossom hanging from a large leafy stem. Good size and decoration. A chip to each handle. Chip to rim on reverse. Shallow chip on top of rim. Minor knick on front of rim. Minor 1 1/4" Y-shaped surfaceline on underside, not visible on interior. Wear to interior base.
