Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "MOYER HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1858, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, the front decorated with a brushed design of three tulips extending from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Large dry in-the-firing contact mark on right side of jug. Filled chip at base. Minor nick to underside, probably in-the-making.
