Half-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Foliate Decoration, Western PA or possibly Palatine, WV origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with an intricate stenciled plant design featuring finely-stenciled leaves. Excellent condition with a small in-the-firing contact mark to front and a few lightly-stained spots.
