One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Floral Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with an elaborate stenciled flowering branch between two freehand stripes. Long sealed crack at base. Three chips on exterior of rim. A few small, shallow chips on interior of rim. Sticky residue to surface.
