One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt leaf design on both sides. Scalloped line decoration under each handle. Rim chips. Two small, glazed-oved chips at edge on underside.
