Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, second half 19th century, a one-gallon, cylindrical jar with cobalt swag decoration, stamped "J.M. HICKERSON / STRASBURG, VA," paired with a one-gallon cylindrical jar with cobalt floral decoration, attributed to Enoch Burnett, Washington, D.C. Hickerson jar with numerous nicks and small chips to rim, a 6 1/2" crack on side, continuing 2 1/2" onto underside, and base chips. Attributed Burnett jar with three rim chips and two very minor rim nicks.
