Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design accented with dotted trails. Bottom of wooden dasher missing. Very nice condition. A tiny nick to one handle, a 3/4" line in rim, where to ledge on interior of rim where the lid rests, and some tight surface lines on underside, not visible on interior.
