Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "FULPER BROS. / FLEMINGTON, N.J.," fourth quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a long-tailed bird perched on a leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Large Y-shaped crack on side of crock, which extends around to opposite side of crock, forming a Y on reverse and a Y on opposite side of crock. A chip and two nicks on interior of rim.
