Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HUMISTON & CUMMINGS / S. AMBOY. NJ," second quarter 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with semi-squared spout and ribbed handle, decorated with a large brushed tulip plant with serrated leaves. Rare South Amboy maker's mark. Excellent condition with a small spout nick and a few small, minor base chips.
