Two Three-Gallon Stoneware Churns with Cobalt Floral Decorations, probably Midwestern origin, mid 19th century, two semi-ovoid churns with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, one with slip-trailed double-tulip decoration below a script "3"; the other with brushed double-tulip design. Slip-trailed churn with handle chip, small stone ping to front, rim chips, hairlines to base area, and some streaks of water glass staining. Other churn with sticky residue to surface, long, thin crack from rim, horizontal hairline to handle, and a few base chips.
