Two Glazed Pottery Jugs, American, 19th century, an ovoid redware jug with heavily-ribbed handle and blackish lead-and-manganese-glazed surface, first half 19th century; paired with a one-gallon ovoid stoneware jug with Albany slip glaze, mid 19th century. Redware jug with base chips, a 1" shallow flake to edge of underside, some scattered flakes and wear to surface, and wear to spout. Stoneware jug in excellent condition.
